Yoga For Breath

Breathing is the only physiological process that can be voluntary or involuntary. Sound respiration is essential for optimum health. On average we take a breath 12-18 times per minute. But how beneficially do we breath? Yoga For Breath is a five week course presented as individual one-on-one instruction for individuals with specific needs and as small group sessions. Participants will learn intentional breathing with purposeful movements drawn from multiple Yoga traditions. Discover the transformative effects of Yoga For Breath, key for reducing everyday stress and nurturing complete wellness. These breathwork practices will unlock the ability to:

This program of select Iyengar Yoga positions developed by Loren Fishman, MD emphasizes reversing osteoporosis and osteopenia in all of the common areas of bone density decline - the spine, hips, and femur or thigh bone. And all without the need of medication. Yoga for Osteoporosis is offered as one-on-one instruction pertinent to the individual participant's abilities in a 10-session program.
